"SNOOPY INSTRUCTIONS"
These instructions should be printed out to help you with your build of the SNOOPY JAG.
Use a Model King "Kenz & Leslie Cougar" or "The Judge GTO" Funny Car for a donor kit.
We used a different set of mpc frame rails (cast in resin), as the Model King's F/C frame rails
are too short.
You will need to replace the Cougar or GTO engine with a 392 HEMI (found on our "Parts Page").
First, you'll need to shorten
the Cougar or GTO F/C kit rear axle's,
so the slicks you use will fit the inside of
the body.
You will need to do these alterations to the rear suspension.
The Kenz & Leslie Cougar F/C kit parts are shown on the left.
On the right shows how you'll need to alter the kit chassis parts.
Here's how your chassis should look after using the alterering the
kit parts.
The Interior Floor gets glued to the Frame and the Firewall/Cowl gets glued inside the body.
Add the resin "Front Frame Rail with Spring Perch" to your chassis rails.
Correct Tube Axle with Buggy Spring.
This is how the 2-pieces will look when attached to your model.
The Sway bar (part #15) will need to be installed behind the axle.
The Cougar or GTO F/C Tie Rod will need to be shortened and the Steering Rod will need
to be lengthened.
