This is the early version of BRUTUS that ran in 1965,
later in '66 the front wheel wells were moved forward and the car was lowered.

Instructions for building the chassis

Photo #1. On the left is the Californian Toronado chassis. On the right is the frame and chassis floor from the AMT '66 Olds 444.
Photo #2. The front half of the chassis is from the Californian and the rear section is the AMT. '66 Olds 442 frame & chassis floor.
-The middle piece is from the AMT. '68 El Camino Bed Liner-
Photo #3. After cutting out the mid section of the '66 Olds Floor, the AMT. El Camino Bed Liner was measured, cut & installed.
I plan to open the trunk is why I'm using the El Camino bed liner, otherwise you can just use sheet plastic.
