STARDUST
1966 AWB Dodge Charger Funny Car

Model by: Scott Kapellusch

Built as a box stock replica (no wires).

Starting with an original AMT (cream color body) and a re-issue MPC (black plastic) 1966 Charger (used for patch panels).
A Polar Lights chassis was shortened to fit the AWB body.

Scratch built features:
New wheel locations, patch panels, separate front clip, hood hinge, roll bars, windows, door hinges,
firewall, dash, a 1966 Charger interior tub was heavily modified to fit.

Regretfully, this was never cast in resin as it could have been the only correct "STARDUST" Funny Car body ever !
This was also the model that sparked the interest to start - "Speed City Resin Models".

Painted in pearl white, with candy blue panel fades.

Decal lettering and sponsors by: "BILLYGOOCHE"
