GOODYEAR "BLUE STREAK" 16" DRAG SLICKS

These slicks are designed to except a 16" mag wheel and a standard 15" wheel back (or Inner Rim).
Lettered on both sides - correct 12.50" width in scale.
16" Slicks & Mag Wheels were preferred by most drag racers for better performance !
These slicks will make a great replacement for the Polar Lights Funny Cars,
since the flopper style Funny Cars from 1968 ran 16" Slicks & Mag Wheels.
You'll be amazed at how much more accurate these 16" Slicks & Mag Wheels look on your model !

These are the only accurate "FIRESTONE DRAG 500" slicks ever made.

M&H Racemaster Super Sport 15"
7" wide cheater slicks were the ONLY LEGAL TIRE for Super Stock racing from 1962 - 1967.
7x15" Cheater Slicks are the only accurate NHRA approved slick to use for the S/S (Super Stock class).
Cars like the.... '64 Ramchargers Dodge , Color Me Gone, Thunderbolts, Bel Airs (Old Reliable), GTO's,
(Passionate Poncho), Bill "Grumpy" Jenkins Nova, Etc... Had to run Cheater Slicks !

Finally, a correct front tire for all AFX and Early Funny Cars !
When the other tires you have seem too big or too small...... then these are the ones you need !
These tires are more flexible than vinyl tires, so you can cut off the tires you currently have
on your model, and these new AFX tires will stretch over your mag wheel with ease.
Heating them will help to put on.

To letter or stripe tires: Use a tooth pick and acrylic craft paint.
To sand the slicks down fast: Use a Dremel Drum Sander.
To dull the side walls: Use #0 Fine Steel Wool or Dull Coat.
